A New Season

It’s a New Season…

I wanted to take a moment to touch base with everyone who has supported through prayers, finances and words of encouragement to me over the last 5 years.

I pray this finds you well and blessed by the Lord’s grace, favor and provision in your lives. As you can tell from the title I am entering a new season in my life and the ministry opportunities the Lord has been opening for me. For the last few years I have been serving in a part time position as the assistant mission’s pastor at Springhouse Worship & Arts Center under Pastor Bruce Coble. I have been blessed to sit under his care as a teacher and mentor discipling the life of Christ and a shepherd’s heart for pastoral care to the flock.

On October 31st, Pastor Bruce retired from service at Springhouse after over 28 years of ministry. Effective November 1st, I picked up the responsibilities of the mission’s department at Springhouse.

With this has come an increase in the part time salary and it allows me to be in a position to not have to rely on monthly support and donations to subsidize our monthly livelihood. I want to thank each of you for your faithful support through prayers, finances and encouraging words over these last few years. I could not have done what the Lord has blessed me to be a part of at Springhouse and beyond without YOU!!!

That being said, I want to let you know your donations to me personally through Springhouse for Coffee Cup Ministries are no longer a tax-deductible contribution. If you would like to continue to support the missions work and outreach I am involved in you may still donate to Springhouse and mark it MISSIONS RESERVE in the MEMO line of your check.

Thank You and God Bless!!

Still answering the Call…

In addition to the international trips to serve and support our missionaries I am continuing to serve the Single Parent Families of Springhouse, the folks at Community Servants at Wherry Housing.. I am expanding our outreach to the Biker population of Smyrna and Rutherford County as well, meeting every other Sunday night with the guys and gals at Chappy’s. Continue to pray for this ministry as there is interest from many of the bikers to have a Sunday morning breakfast and chapel service AT the Chappy’s Bar!!! We hope to start this in January 2018.

And lastly, pray for the local outreach of Springhouse as I work alongside Pastors Anna and Ernie Urias with the Springhouse Community Connection finding ways to serve our community in Smyrna.
